Ten �Ա���Ƶ students studying French accompanied Mahadevi Ramakrishnan, of the Department of Romance Languages, on an educational trip to the French island of Martinique during spring break 2011.

As a student, Mark Buttitta ’74 defended �Ա���Ƶ football’s line of scrimmage. As an alumnus, he still noted the passing of summer by counting off the weeks until practices would start at his alma mater.
