New research from �Ա���Ƶ changes our understanding of seasonal thawing in parts of Antarctica, as scientists have learned that summer thawing occurs nearly a month earlier, and stays thawed for a full two months longer, than previously believed.

A cross-disciplinary team of �Ա���Ƶ faculty and staff members is developing a new approach to STEM teacher training, with a grant from the National Science Foundation. 

A newly funded natural laboratory, designed to understand the interaction between the climate, hydrology, and the �Ա���Ƶ community, is now collecting data, thanks to the recent installation of specialized monitoring stations on campus and in a local creek.
