Professor Marlowe's Intro to Museums Class Students participate in careful and critical thinking and studying of objects in the University Museums collections. London History Study Group (LHSG) Students with Jim Harris, the Andrew W. Mellon Teaching Curator at the Ashmolean Museum (Oxford University). Students got an amazing 鈥渂ehind the scenes鈥 tour of the museum and an opportunity to handle bronze age artifacts. Student Interns help prepare for an exhibition Museum Interns have the opportunity to assist the University Museums staff with behind-the-scenes work preparation for exhibitions. Museum collections storage study Museum Studies students have the opportunity to learn about collections management, storage, and object handling. Student Interns work with exhibitions Museum Interns participate in a variety of museum exhibition planning, from working with objects, assisting with preparing objects for exhibition, to writing object labels and wall text.
