Congratulations to the Class of 2021 History Award Winners

On Wednesday, March 17th, the �Ա���Ƶ History Department welcomed Katy Layton-Jones, via Zoom, for the annual Douglas K. Reading Lecture.

History major Lijun (Karen) Zhang '21 awarded the Lampert Award for Outstanding Scholarship.

During his visit to campus this March, �Ա���Ƶ class of 1998 alumnus Paul S. Cha gave an interview with current student Zhelun Zhou ‘20 about his time as a History and Asian Studies major and his career path after �Ա���Ƶ.

Paul S. Cha, �Ա���Ƶ Class of 1998 alumnus and now Assistant Professor of History at the University of Hong Kong, returned to campus to give a lecture, “Christian Mission Schools, Japanese Shinto Shrine Ceremonies, and Colonial Korea in the 1930’s.”
