University Theater to present original student plays September 21-23

Hamilton, NY — – ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ Theater will present a production of three original plays September 21-23 in Brehmer Theater in the Dana Arts Center. Showings will take place at 8:00 p.m on Friday, September 21 and Saturday, September 22, and at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 23. Each of the one-act plays has been written, directed, and acted by ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ students. In addition, ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ students have completed all the theatrical elements of the productions, from set design and construction to the lighting and costume design work. Tickets are $5.00 for general admission and $3.00 for students and seniors. The plays include adult content and adult language. For more information, call 315-228-7641 or 7639.

Tasseled Loafers, written by Richard Demato ’01 and directed by Michael Torpey ’02, is a brief look into the lives of young up-and-coming professionals, the decisions they make and the consequences of their actions. Urbane Attractions, written by Brendan Duffy ’01 and directed by Jessica Frank ’01, is a comic look at friendships and casual dating in a big city. In Belles, written by Kate Kostelnik ’01 and directed by Jessica Parshley ’01, a wedding becomes the setting for a comedy of errors. Will the wedding party get along’ Will they behave’
