HAMILTON, N.Y. – ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ senior right-hander Elena Isaac (Chandler, AZ) threw a complete game in the opener to tie the school record for career wins as the Raiders split a non-conference doubleheader with Siena College Thursday afternoon at the Eaton Street Field.

¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ (33-15) took the opener 4-3, before dropping a 13-4 decision in the nightcap.

Isaac (16-6) picked up her 59th career win to tie Tara McGoff (1996-99) for the school record for victories. She allowed six hits, while striking out five and walking none.

¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ’s Natalie Rawson (Palmdale, CA) was 3-for-6 in the doubleheader with three RBI’s and her ninth home run of the season. Rawson is now second on ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ’s all-time RBI list with 115.

In the opener, ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ took a 3-0 lead with three runs in the third inning off Siena starter Tisha Salamino. Isaac led off the inning with a single and moved to second on a walk to Stacy Mui (Wappingers Falls, NY). Both players moved up a base on a pass ball, and then Isaac scored on a wild pitch. Mui then scored on Erica Anderson’s (Claremont, CA) single, and Anderson came home later on Natalie Rawson’s RBI single.

The Raiders extended their lead to 4-0 in the fifth inning on Rawson’s second RBI of the game. Siena scored three runs in the seventh inning, but ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ got out of the inning when a Siena runner was out in a rundown.

In the nightcap, Siena pounded three ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ pitchers with 16 hits. Sarah Rose was 3-for-4 with four RBI, and Megan Woltz drove in three runs and scored three.

Natalie Rawson was 1-for-3 with a lead off home run in the fifth inning. Her home run broke up a perfect game by Siena’s Tara Campbell. It also extended Rawson’s hitting streak to nine straight games.

Erin Hanna (Tucson, AZ) and Mandi Perry (Fremont, NE) had RBI singles for the Raiders.
