Seniors' plans, photos, and videos are on Google map

Back to All Stories

Seniors have followed their own paths the past four years as they delved into a wide range of academic subjects and explored a variety of career options.

Where those paths have led them — at least for now — is captured on a Google that shows where Class of 2009 members are going and what they will be doing after commencement.

Personal profiles and photos are available on the map, and eight seniors are highlighted through videos.

You will see students such as:

• Victoria Ortengren, an economics major, will work as an analyst with Barclays Capital in New York City.

More

• Charles Carrier, molecular biology, will conduct asthma research at the Boston University School of Medicine.

• Elizabeth Robertson, chemistry, joined the Peace Corps and is headed to Accra, Ghana, where she will serve as a water and sanitation officer

• David Kerschner, political science, will attend the New York University School of Law

There are more than 160 senior profiles on the and more to come as graduates finalize their plans.

Ursula Olender, director of the university’s Center for Career Services, said it is not unusual for seniors to continue working closely with the center and with alumni career advisers throughout the summer.

“In this challenging economic environment these relationships are more important than ever,” she said.
