With the launch of its Bicentennial in 2018, ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ is looking back by exploring stories of the people, places, and moments that led to its present distinction. Driven to be a leading American institution, the University is also looking forward to a third century of distinction, powered by the energy, creativity, and ambition of a remarkable community.

¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ at the National Institutes of Health

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Study Group offers the opportunity for ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ students interested in the biomedical sciences to spend a full semester working in some of the most exciting research laboratories in the world. The NIH in Bethesda, MD, housing more than 5,000 active researchers, are the official federal health-related research facilities of the United States. The hallmark of the study group is an intensive research experience involving 30+ hours of research each week in an NIH laboratory of the students’ choosing.

Short Fiction in Contemporary Spain

Students in Professor Marta Perez-Carbonell's Short Fiction in Contemporary Spain class wrote creative works reflecting what they had read and learned throughout the semester. The pieces were collected in a small volume and printed by ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ's Document Services shop. The students shared their work with their peers on the last day of class.
