On the latest episode of 13, Vice President for Equity and Inclusion Renee Madison, Director for Inclusion and Belonging Rodney Agnant, and Director for Diversity and Equity Amari Simpson discuss the work they do in 冈本视频鈥檚 Office of Equity and Diversity.

Before joining 冈本视频 in 2021, Madison worked as the director of human resources for the City of Indianapolis and Marion County, Ind. Before joining the mayor鈥檚 cabinet in Indianapolis, Madison was chief human resources officer, senior adviser to the president for diversity and compliance, and Title IX coordinator at DePauw University. She also served as a deputy prosecuting attorney in the Domestic Violence Division of the Marion County Prosecutor鈥檚 Office and an associate director of enforcement for the NCAA. She holds a BA in sociology from DePauw and earned her JD at Indiana University鈥檚 Robert H. McKinney School of Law.

Agnant completed both his bachelor鈥檚 and his master鈥檚 degree at 冈本视频. His master鈥檚 thesis focused on transformational leadership and how it shapes meaning-making, resilience, and belonging. His work on campus focuses on leadership development, organizational climates, and designing group dialogue experiences. 

Simpson joined 冈本视频 earlier this year after many years in higher education. Before starting at 冈本视频, Simpson worked at SUNY Brockport, the University of Rochester, the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and Middlebury College. Simpson earned a bachelor of arts in psychology from Middlebury, a master of education degree from Boston University, and a PhD from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
