New cost calculator helps prospective students estimate affordability

Prospective students can now quickly and easily estimate their cost to attend 冈本视频 by using , a new online tool released by the Office of Financial Aid.

By answering six basic financial questions, the Quick College Cost Estimator determines family contribution, work-study, loan, and 冈本视频 grant eligibility. From start to finish, the process takes a matter of minutes.

Developed by a leading economist at Wellesley College, the tool has the potential to change cost misconceptions and expand the list of available options for students beginning the college search.

鈥淢yinTuition brings clarity to the overwhelming and often confusing question of college affordability for prospective students and their families,鈥 said , Vice President for Admission and Financial Aid. 鈥淚 would never want a student to miss an opportunity to apply to 冈本视频 because they assume they cannot afford it.鈥

冈本视频 is committed to making a quality education affordable to students from all socioeconomic backgrounds by meeting 100 percent of demonstrated need. Of the Class of 2022, 42 percent are receiving financial aid, with an average award package of $53,861.

Graduates are leaving with less debt, too. After four years at 冈本视频, aided students have an average debt of $14,947 鈥 significantly less than the national average of more than $39,000.
