REHOBOTH, Del.The ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ golf team had its best showing of the spring season Monday as the Raiders placed ninth out of 13 teams at the Rehoboth Beach Spring Invitational at Kings Creek Country Club.
The University of Maryland won the tournament with a score of 295 and the Terps’ John Eades took medalist honors with a score of 72. Army finished second with a score of 305 and ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ’s other Patriot League opponent Bucknell placed fifth with a score of 312.
Sean Cusick paced the Raiders with a seven-over-par 72 for a share of 24th place. J Hlavacek came in at 30th with a score of 80 while Taylor Rogers and Patrick Bauer tied for 39th with scores of 82. Michael Chase rounded out the Raiders with a score of 85 for 56th.
The Raiders are back in action on April 24-25 in the Patriot League Championship at Seven Oaks Golf Course in Hamilton.
