ANNAPOLIS, MD  – The ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ men’s soccer team continued its’ offensive struggle this evening with a 1-0 Patriot League defeat at the hands of the Midshipmen of Navy.

¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ was held scoreless for the fifth time in twelve games this season and dropped to 4-5-3 on the season and 1-3-0 in the Patriot League.

Navy scored the game’s lone goal at 60:03 when Dan Montgomery scored his sixth goal of the season.  Joe Snyder got the assist on the tally.

Shots were even at 14 apiece and Navy outcornered ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ 3-2.

Will Martin (Excelsior, MN/Breck) continued his excellent play in net making three saves and lowering his goals against average to 1.05, but the offense continues to give him no support.

¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ returns to action Wednesday at home when they host Siena at 4 p.m.
