2022 Geography Honors Presentations

Back to Geography News and Updates

There was a bumper crop of senior honors theses in spring of 2022 for the Geography Department.

All of the participants were senior geography or environmental studies geography concentrators, many of them having worked on the topics since the previous summer.  There was a great deal of variety in interests and specialties among the projects, with a majority of the department faculty as advisers, readers, and second-readers.  After an academically rigorous year and multiple revisions of each thesis, it was a pleasure to consider the final presentation of particular topic, weigh in on their methods, and listen to their findings.  Each student has proven mastery of their subject and may potentially be able to turn these projects into academic papers in the future.
