Dear Colleagues,
I write to provide you with information on this year’s self-report process. Self-reports ask you to identify noteworthy aspects of your teaching, scholarship, and service during the most recent academic year (Sept. 1, 2023, through Aug. 31, 2024).
Please submit your self-report as a Word document or equivalent file. We are again asking that faculty submit a copy of their current CV along with their self-reports. Instructions and guidelines for completion and submission of your self-report are attached .
Self-reports are due to your department chair and/or program director on Oct. 18, 2024, and to the PDOF office on Oct. 25, 2024. A Google folder will be shared with your division ADC for collection.
Self-reports provide current information that is essential for discussion of salary increases; the lack of submission of the report may result in a below-normal raise.
Please note that no report is required from visiting faculty, faculty new to ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ, or faculty who will undergo review during 2024–25 (i.e. pre-tenure review, tenure and promotion review, or promotion to full review). Senior lecturers and lab instructors should complete all sections relating to their teaching and any other sections that are applicable to their work. Library faculty do not need to complete a self-report in Word: they should continue to use the library self-report process.
We thank you for your excellent work in the past year and look forward to receiving your reports.
Sending my best,
Lesleigh Cushing
Provost and Dean of the Faculty
