Alec Anderson

Alec Anderson began on March 20 as a campus safety officer. Alec was previously employed at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital. He enjoys fishing, and spending time with his partner, Tasha, and children, Gavin and Kolby.
 

Matthew "Matt" Ardaiolo

Matthew 鈥淢att鈥 Ardaiolo began on February 7 as assistant director of career development, STEM/sustainability. Matt received his BS in biology from the University of South Carolina and his MA in biology from Miami University, Ohio. He was previously employed as a lead zookeeper at the Utica Zoo. He enjoys plants, animals, carpentry, completing DIY projects, and getting outdoors and exploring the area through hiking and snowshoeing. He is helping his partner, Robin Freise, create a start-up, small-scale farm focused on sustainable agriculture and diversified vegetable/fruit cropping to serve the community through a CAS and at local farmers markets. He has two dogs, Olive and Poppy, and one cat, Everett. 

Charlotte Bristol began on February 13 as a designer. Charlotte received her degree from Savannah College of Art and Design. She previously worked at Studio E/L as a graphic designer and social media manager. She enjoys aerial arts, writing, illustration, and spending time with her partner, Cameron.

Carrie Caporin

Carrie Caporin began on February 13 as an administrative coordinator. Carrie was previously employed as a senior assistant to the VP of enrollment management/admissions office manager at Cazenovia College. She enjoys cooking, wine tasting, football (Go, Giants!), reading, and spending time with her husband, George, children Eva and Ella, their dog, Henry, and cat, Siggy.

Laura Chrissley

Laura Chrissley began on February 1 as an assistant director of career development, business adviser. Laura received her bachelor鈥檚 in business administration from Ithaca College and her master鈥檚 in higher education from Syracuse University. She enjoys trying new restaurants and breweries, watching football, traveling, and spending time with her fiance, Nate. 

Mary Donofrio

Mary Donofrio began on February 13 as advancement communications director. Mary received her BA in writing from Loyola University, Maryland, and her MA in magazine, newspaper, and online journalism from Syracuse University. She enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband, Anthony, who is executive chef at 冈本视频, and recreating their favorite dishes at home. She also enjoys podcasts, especially true crime, and spending time with their son, Anthony, and daughter, Julia. 

Sean Dougherty

Sean Dougherty began on February 20 as an assistant director/lead investigator in the Campus Safety Department. Sean received his bachelor鈥檚 degree in sociology from Siena College. He is a retired lieutenant from the Utica Police Department. He enjoys reading, listening to audiobooks, Buffalo Bills football, and spending time with his daughter Alexa.

Abbey Frail

Abbey Frail began on March 20 as an assistant women鈥檚 soccer coach. Abbey received her BA and master鈥檚 degrees from Wingate University. She was previously employed at Wright State University as an assistant women鈥檚 soccer coach.

Bernie Freytag

Bernie Freytag began on March 13 as an art director. Bernie received his bachelor鈥檚 in graphic design from RIT. He was previously employed at Romanelli Communications as a creative director. He enjoys drawing, writing, creating, hiking, kayaking, traveling, listening to live music, and spending time with his dog, Izzy.

Melissa Helmke-Davie

Melissa Helmke-Davie began on February 13 as an administrative coordinator in administrative advising. Melissa was previously employed with the NYS Thruway as an office manager. She enjoys reading, horseback riding, dog training, crafts with vinyl and resin, and spending time with her husband, Matthew, children Gavin, Grace, Grant, and Gabriel, and their dog, Isabell.

Jacob "Jake" Lamb

Jacob 鈥淛ake鈥 Lamb began on February 27 as a custodian. Jake enjoys athletics and spending time with his partner, Rosario Felix-Malpica, and dog Lola.

 

Maureen "Mo" Muckinhaupt

Maureen "Mo" Muckinhaupt began on February 12 as a director of residential life. Mo received her BA in psychology from Hiram College and her MSEd in higher education administration from Indiana University. She was previously employed at Allegheny College as an associate dean of students. She enjoys listening to podcasts/audiobooks, crafting, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, Josh, and golden retriever, Chancellor.
 
Amy Netzband began on February 27 as an assistant director of talent acquisition. Amy received her bachelor of science in business administration, graduate certificates in leading nonprofit organizations and human resources management, and master鈥檚 in organizational leadership from Southern New Hampshire University. She was previously at The Arc Madison Cortland as the HR coordinator/recruiter. She loves to read, being outdoors, attending live events/concerts, antique and classic cars (she owns two), and spending time with her husband, Philip, two young children (5 and 2), her dog, Oakley, and cat, Allie. 

Kelly North began on January 23 as a physician assistant at the student health center. Kelly received her BS in biology from Siena College and graduated from the physician assistant program at Albany Medical College. She previously worked in an office-based gastroenterology practice as a mid-level provider at Associated GI. She enjoys gardening, baking, kayaking on Oneida Lake, cheering on her son at his lacrosse games at the University of Kentucky, volunteering at Helping Hounds Dog Rescue, and spending time with her daughter and son.

Ian Pace

Ian Pace began on March 20 as an assistant tight end football coach. Ian graduated from Fordham University in 2009. He was previously employed as a head coach at Somerville High School. He enjoys running, walking, cutting the grass, walking his dog, Wilson, and spending time with his wife, Samantha.

Gen Phillips

Genevieve 鈥淕en鈥 Phillips began on March 20 as lead digital media and event support specialist. Gen graduated from Loyola University and was previously employed at Cazenovia College as director of IT. She enjoys camping, running, tennis, traveling, spending time with her husband, Jonathan, children June and Mac, and dog Ness.

Cassie Stone began on February 6 as a human resources associate. Cassie enjoys camping with her family, exploring and adventuring to new places, and spending time with her cats, Maverick and Tug. 

Sierra Verburg

Sierra Verburg began on February 27 as an online community manager for the office of advancement. Sierra received her master鈥檚 degree in higher education administration from Stony Brook University. She was previously employed as an assistant director of admissions for Vermont State University. She enjoys hiking, rafting, visiting new places, and spending time with her fiance, Patrick, and dog, Lola.
